Contract-Free Home Internet in Poland — Which Providers Don't Require 24 Months
14 September 2026 · by Adam Ostrowski
A standard home internet contract in Poland usually runs 24 months, with a real cancellation fee if you leave early — often a meaningful chunk of the months remaining on the contract. That's a real risk if you're new to the country and not sure yet whether you'll stay in this flat, this city, or even move on somewhere else entirely.
In our own comparison catalog, a genuine no-contract option exists across three different technologies. Starlink's three home plans (100, 200 and 400+ Mb/s, priced from 135 to 265 zł/month) carry no long-term contract at all — cancel anytime, which also makes it a practical choice if you're renting short-term or aren't sure how long you'll be at this address. Orange has a real cable plan (200 Mb/s) with no long-term commitment either. And Wave, a fibre provider, offers its whole lineup (300/600/900 Mb/s) without a fixed-term contract.
Worth knowing too: contract-free options aren't only a nationwide-operator thing. TVK Toruń, a small local cable provider that only operates in Toruń, sells its entire lineup on an open-ended basis with no fixed term at all — a useful reminder that if you move somewhere new, it's worth checking what local providers are doing, not just the big national names.
One honest caveat: no contract doesn't automatically mean the cheapest deal — compare the real monthly cost, not just the flexibility, before you decide. And if you're also figuring out what documents you'll actually need to sign up in the first place, our guide to getting internet in Poland without a PESEL number covers that separately.
